Salt and Pepper Squid

- Vegetable oil - For deep frying
- Cornflour - 1/2 cup
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Squid tubes - 500 grams, cleaned and cut into rings

- In a large bowl, combine the squid, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cornflour and toss until the squid is well coated.
- Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan to 180°C (350°F).
- Fry the squid in batches for 2-3 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Serve the squid hot with lime wedges.
