Salsa Verde Burger
A juicy burger topped with a tangy and spicy salsa verde.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Lettuce - 4 leaves
- Hamburger buns - 4
- Monterey jack cheese - 4 slices
- Salsa verde - 1 cup
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Ground beef - 1 pound
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, then form into 4 patties.
- Grill the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with a slice of cheese and close the grill lid to melt the cheese.
- Spread a generous amount of salsa verde on the bottom half of each bun.
- Place a lettuce leaf and a tomato slice on each bun, then top with the cheeseburger patty.
- Spread more salsa verde on the top half of each bun, then place on top of the burger to complete the sandwich.
