Salmon Fish Cakes with Tartar Sauce
These salmon fish cakes are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and served with a tangy homemade tartar sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Dijon mustard - 1 tablespoon
- Dill pickle - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
- Mayonnaise - 1/2 cup
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Breadcrumbs - 1/2 cup
- Egg - 1, beaten
- Lemon zest - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh dill - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Green onions - 2, finely chopped
- Potatoes - 2 medium, boiled and mashed
- Salmon fillets - 2 cups, cooked and flaked

- In a large bowl, combine the cooked and flaked salmon, mashed potatoes, green onions, fresh dill, lemon zest, beaten egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
