Ramen Burger
The Ramen Burger is a unique and delicious twist on a classic burger, where the buns are made from cooked ramen noodles.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Ketchup - 2 tablespoons
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Onion - 1, sliced
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Lettuce - A few leaves
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Ground beef - 1/2 pound
- Ramen noodles - 2 packs
Let's Get Started
- Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- In a bowl, mix the cooked ramen noodles with the seasoning packets from the ramen packages.
- Divide the noodle mixture into 4 equal portions. Press each portion into a round mold or a small bowl to form the bun shape. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix the ground beef, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form the beef mixture into 2 patties.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the beef patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove the ramen buns from the refrigerator and carefully remove them from the molds or bowls.
- In the same skillet, toast the ramen buns for about 2 minutes on each side, or until crispy.
- Assemble the burger by placing a ramen bun on the bottom, followed by a beef patty, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Top with another ramen bun.
- Serve the Ramen Burger immediately and enjoy!
