Quinoa Dosa
A healthy and delicious twist to the traditional dosa with the added benefits of quinoa.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Oil - For cooking the dosa
- Water - As required
- Salt - To taste
- Fenugreek seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Urad dal - 1/2 cup
- Rice - 1/2 cup
- Quinoa - 1 cup
Let's Get Started
- Soak the quinoa, rice, urad dal and fenugreek seeds in water for 8 hours or overnight.
- Drain the water and grind the mixture into a smooth batter, adding water as required.
- Add salt to the batter and let it ferment for 8 hours or overnight.
- Heat a dosa pan or non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it in a circular motion to make a thin dosa.
- Drizzle some oil around the edges of the dosa and cook until it turns golden brown.
- Flip the dosa and cook the other side until golden brown.
- Serve the quinoa dosa hot with chutney or sambar.
