- Cured ham - 8 slices, optional
- Salt - To taste
- Extra virgin olive oil - To taste
- Garlic cloves - 2, optional
- Ripe tomatoes - 2
- Country bread - 4 slices
Let's Get Started
- Toast the bread slices until they are crispy.
- Cut the tomatoes in half and rub the open side on the bread until the bread is covered with the tomato pulp.
- If using, cut the garlic cloves in half and rub on the bread.
- Drizzle the bread with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
- If desired, top the bread with slices of cured ham.
