  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the onions, garlic, tomatoes, and bell pepper and cook until the vegetables are soft, about 10 minutes.
  3. Add the wine, fish stock, bay leaf, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Add the cod, shrimp, and clams to the pot. Cover and cook until the fish is cooked through and the clams have opened, about 10 minutes.
  5. Discard any clams that do not open.
