Pork with Apple Cider Sauce
This pork dish is cooked in a delicious apple cider sauce that is perfect for fall.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Fresh thyme - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Apple - 1, peeled and chopped
- Dijon mustard - 1 tablespoon
- Chicken broth - 1 cup
- Apple cider - 1 cup
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1, chopped
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Pork chops - 4, bone-in
Let's Get Started
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the pork chops and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until softened.

- Return the pork chops to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top.

- Serve the pork chops with the apple cider sauce spooned over the top.
