Pork Tenderloin with Maple Dijon Sauce

Ingredients - Serves 4
- Water - 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Dijon mustard - 2 tablespoons
- Maple syrup - 1/4 cup
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Pork tenderloin - 1 lb
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Season the pork tenderloin with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the pork and sear on all sides until browned.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 20 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through.
- While the pork is roasting, make the sauce. In a small saucepan, combine the garlic, maple syrup, dijon mustard, and soy sauce. Bring to a simmer.
- In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with the water to make a slurry. Stir into the sauce and cook until thickened.
- Remove the pork from the oven and let rest for a few minutes. Slice and serve with the maple dijon sauce.
