Pork Ribs with a Red Wine Glaze

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 275°F.
  2. Season the pork ribs with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe pan over medium heat. Add the ribs and sear on all sides until browned.
  4. Remove the ribs from the pan and set aside.
  5. In the same pan, add the red wine, brown sugar, garlic, and rosemary. Bring to a simmer and cook until the sugar is dissolved.
  6. Return the ribs to the pan and spoon some of the glaze over the top.
  7. Cover the pan with foil and bake for 2 hours, or until the ribs are tender.
  8. Remove the ribs from the oven and increase the temperature to 400°F.
  9. Remove the foil and spoon more glaze over the ribs. Return to the oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until the glaze is caramelized.
  10. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
