Pollo en Nata
Pollo en Nata is a delicious and creamy chicken dish from Spain. It's made with chicken breasts cooked in a creamy sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Heavy cream - 1 cup
- White wine - 1/2 cup
- Onion - 1, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Chicken breasts - 4, boneless and skinless
Let's Get Started
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the garlic and onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the white wine to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the heavy cream to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and cook for 10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Sprinkle the parsley over the chicken and serve.
