Poh Pia Tod
Poh Pia Tod, or Thai Spring Rolls, are a delicious appetizer filled with a mix of vegetables and often served with a sweet chili sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Sweet chili sauce - For serving
- Vegetable oil - For frying
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Glass noodles - 1 cup, soaked and cut into 1 inch pieces
- Bean sprouts - 1 cup
- Cabbage - 1 cup, shredded
- Carrots - 2, julienned
- Spring roll wrappers - 8
Let's Get Started
- In a large bowl, combine the carrots, cabbage, bean sprouts, and glass noodles.
- Add the soy sauce and mix well.
- Place a spoonful of the mixture onto each spring roll wrapper and roll tightly, sealing the edges with a little water.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F.
- Fry the spring rolls until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels and serve with sweet chili sauce.
