Prawn Fried Wontons

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a food processor, pulse the prawns, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch until well combined.
  2. Place a spoonful of the prawn mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Brush the edges of the wonton wrappers with water, then fold them in half to form a triangle. Press the edges to seal.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or fryer to 350°F (180°C).
  5. Fry the wontons in batches for about 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve the prawn fried wontons hot with sweet chili sauce for dipping.
