Let's Get Started

  1. Cut the fish into chunks and place in a food processor. Add the cornstarch, egg white, salt, and white pepper. Process until smooth.
  2. Transfer the fish mixture to a bowl and stir in the chopped green onions.
  3. Shape the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Fry the fish balls in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 5 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve the fish balls hot, with your favorite dipping sauce.
