Pla Muak Pad Prick

Ingredients - Serves 4
- Basil leaves - A handful
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Red chili peppers - 3, sliced
- Squid - 500 grams, cleaned and cut into rings
Let's Get Started
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and chili peppers and stir-fry for a minute until fragrant.
- Add the squid and stir-fry for a couple of minutes until it turns opaque.
- Add the oyster sauce, soy sauce, and sugar, and stir well to combine.
- Continue to stir-fry for another couple of minutes until everything is well coated and the squid is cooked through.
- Turn off the heat and stir in the basil leaves until they wilt from the residual heat.
- Serve the Pla Muak Pad Prick hot with steamed rice.
