Pinto Bean and Ground Beef Burritos

Let's Get Started

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  4. Add the drained and rinsed pinto beans to the skillet. Stir well to combine.
  5. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  7. Place a spoonful of the beef and bean mixture onto each tortilla. Top with shredded cheese, lettuce, diced tomato, sour cream, and salsa.
  8. Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll up tightly to form a burrito.
