Ingredients - Serves 2

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet and sauté until they are soft and lightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the thinly sliced steak and cook until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Return the sautéed onions and bell peppers to the skillet with the cooked steak and mix together.
  5. Place the provolone cheese slices on top of the steak mixture and cover the skillet with a lid. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  6. Slice the crusty rolls in half lengthwise and lightly toast them.
  7. Divide the steak mixture evenly among the toasted rolls, using a spatula to transfer the mixture.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
