Let's Get Started

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and chopped bird's eye chili. Stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add ground meat and stir-fry until cooked through, breaking it up into small pieces.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together fish sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and sugar.
  5. Pour the sauce mixture into the wok and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  6. Add Thai basil leaves and stir-fry until wilted.
  7. Remove from heat and serve hot with steamed rice.
  8. Optional: Garnish with additional fresh Thai basil leaves and sliced bird's eye chili.
