Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the steak or chicken with cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the seasoned meat to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Remove the meat from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the sliced onion, bell peppers, and minced garlic. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
  6. Slice the crusty bread rolls in half lengthwise.
  7. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each bread roll.
  8. Layer the cooked meat, sautéed vegetables, avocado slices, tomato slices, and lettuce leaves on the bread rolls.
  9. Top with salsa and cover with the other half of the bread roll.
  10. Serve the Pepitos immediately and enjoy!
