Pea and Shrimp Stir Fry
This delicious stir fry combines sweet peas and succulent shrimp in a flavorful sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Green onions - 2, sliced
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Peas - 2 cups, fresh or frozen
- Shrimp - 1 pound, peeled and deveined
Let's Get Started
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger, and stir fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add peas and stir fry for 2-3 minutes until tender.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet and add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
- Stir fry for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce coats the shrimp and peas.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with sliced green onions.
- Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
