  1. In a large bowl, combine the grated potatoes, thawed peas, chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, chickpea flour, cumin, coriander, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  3. Scoop about 1/4 cup of the potato mixture and flatten it into a patty. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
  4. Place the patties in the hot oil and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove the fritters from the pan and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  6. Serve the pea and potato fritters hot with your favorite dipping sauce or chutney.
