  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the lemon zest.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  6. Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle.
  7. Pipe the cookies onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
