Paneer Curry
This flavorful paneer curry is made with Indian spices, tomatoes, and creamy paneer cheese.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Fresh cilantro - For garnish
- Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - To taste
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Green chili - 1, finely chopped
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1-inch piece, grated
- Tomatoes - 2 medium, pureed
- Onion - 1 large, finely chopped
- Paneer - 250 grams, cubed
Let's Get Started
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add the grated ginger, minced garlic, and chopped green chili. Sauté for another minute.
- Add the turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and garam masala. Mix well.
- Add the pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates from the masala.
- Add the cubed paneer and salt. Mix gently to coat the paneer with the masala.
- Cover the pan and simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan bread.
