Pan Seared Salmon with Butter Sauce
This pan seared salmon is cooked to perfection and served with a rich and flavorful butter sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salmon fillets - 2 (6 oz) fillets
Let's Get Started
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the butter.
- Once the butter has melted, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Flip the salmon fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the lemon juice to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
- Pour the butter sauce over the cooked salmon fillets.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
