Ingredients - Serves 4
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Bean sprouts - 1 cup
- Bell peppers - 1 medium, julienned
- Carrots - 1 medium, julienned
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Chow mein noodles - 200 grams
Let's Get Started
- Boil the chow mein noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
- Add the carrots and bell peppers and stir-fry until they are tender.
- Add the cooked noodles to the pan and stir-fry for a few minutes until they start to get crispy.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Pour this sauce over the noodles and vegetables and toss to combine.
- Add the bean sprouts and green onions and stir-fry for another minute.
- Serve the pan-fried noodles hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
