Pad Gra Prow, also known as Thai Basil Stir-Fry, is a popular Thai dish made with ground meat, Thai basil, and chili peppers.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Thai chili peppers - 3-4, sliced
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Thai basil leaves - 2 cups
- Ground meat (chicken, beef, or pork) - 250 grams
Let's Get Started
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Add minced garlic and sliced chili peppers. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add ground meat and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Add fish sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and sugar. Stir well to combine.
- Add Thai basil leaves and stir-fry for another minute until wilted.
- Remove from heat and serve hot with steamed rice.
