A hearty main course featuring a juicy porterhouse steak, crispy garlic parmesan potatoes, and healthy steamed broccoli.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Broccoli - 1 head, cut into florets
- Parmesan cheese - 1 cup, grated
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Potatoes - 1.5 pounds, diced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Porterhouse steak - 2 pounds
Let's Get Started
- Preheat your oven's broiler and line a baking sheet with foil.
- Season the porterhouse steak with salt and pepper, then drizzle with olive oil. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Broil the steak in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
- While the steak is broiling, toss the diced potatoes with the minced garlic, olive oil, and half of the grated parmesan cheese. Spread out on a separate baking sheet.
- Once the steak is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest. Turn the oven to 400°F and bake the potatoes for 20 minutes, or until crispy and golden.
- While the potatoes are baking, steam the broccoli florets until tender, about 5 minutes.
- Once the potatoes are done, sprinkle with the remaining parmesan cheese.
- Serve the broiled porterhouse steak with the garlic parmesan potatoes and steamed broccoli on the side.
