Onion and Potato Gratin

Ingredients - Serves 6
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Cheddar cheese - 2 cups, grated
- Milk - 2 cups
- Flour - 2 tablespoons
- Butter - 4 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onions - 2 large, thinly sliced
- Potatoes - 6 medium, thinly sliced
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic and cook until soft and golden.
- Stir in the flour and cook for 2 minutes. Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until thickened.
