Onion and Pepperoni Stromboli

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the sliced onion and sauté until caramelized, about 10 minutes. Set aside.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
  5. Spread the caramelized onions evenly over the dough, leaving a border around the edges.
  6. Layer the sliced pepperoni over the onions.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the pepperoni.
  8. Starting from one of the long sides, tightly roll up the dough into a log, sealing the edges.
  9. Place the stromboli on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing.
  12. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
