Onion and Mushroom Quiche
A savory and delicious quiche filled with caramelized onions, mushrooms, and cheese. Perfect for brunch or a light dinner.
Ingredients - Serves 6
- Pie crust - 1 (9 inch)
- Grated cheese - 1 cup
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Heavy cream - 1 cup
- Eggs - 4 large
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Mushrooms - 2 cups, sliced
- Onions - 2 medium, thinly sliced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions, mushrooms, and garlic and cook until the onions are caramelized and the mushrooms are tender.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the onion and mushroom mixture evenly over the bottom of the pie crust. Pour the egg mixture over the top.
- Sprinkle the cheese evenly over the top of the quiche.
