Let's Get Started

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat the butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  3. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and let it cook undisturbed for a minute.
  4. Using a spatula, gently lift the edges of the omelet and tilt the skillet to allow the uncooked eggs to flow to the edges.
  5. Sprinkle the cheese and your choice of fillings over one half of the omelet.
  6. Fold the other half of the omelet over the fillings and cook for another minute, or until the cheese is melted.
  7. Slide the omelet onto a plate and serve hot.
