Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Add the chopped tomatoes, turmeric, cumin, coriander, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the okra pieces to the pan and mix well with the tomato-based sauce. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the okra is tender.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan bread.
