Okonomiyaki

Ingredients - Serves 4
- Katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes) - To garnish
- Aonori (dried green seaweed) - To garnish
- Japanese mayonnaise - To taste
- Okonomiyaki sauce - To taste
- Cooked pork belly - 1 cup, thinly sliced
- Green onions - 4, finely chopped
- Cabbage - 2 cups, finely chopped
- Water - 3/4 cup
- Eggs - 4
- All-purpose flour - 1 cup
Let's Get Started
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, eggs, and water until smooth.
- Add the cabbage, green onions, and pork belly to the batter and stir until well combined.
- Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a ladleful of the batter.
- Spread the batter into a round pancake and cook until golden brown on the bottom, about 3-4 minutes.
- Flip the pancake and cook until the other side is golden brown and the pancake is cooked through, about 3-4 minutes more.
- Transfer the pancake to a plate and drizzle with okonomiyaki sauce and Japanese mayonnaise.
- Sprinkle with aonori and katsuobushi before serving.
