Let's Get Started

  1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, all-purpose flour, water, eggs, and chopped green onions. Mix well until the batter is smooth.

  3. Sprinkle some cooked and crumbled bacon and tenkasu (tempura scraps) on top of the batter.
  4. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, or until the bottom is golden brown. Flip the okonomiyaki and cook for another 4-5 minutes.
  5. Transfer the cooked okonomiyaki to a serving plate.
  6. Drizzle okonomiyaki sauce and Japanese mayonnaise on top of the okonomiyaki.
  7. Sprinkle bonito flakes and aonori (dried seaweed flakes) over the sauce and mayonnaise.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
