Ingredients - Serves 6

Let's Get Started

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, vanilla extract, and vegetable oil.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the pan and spread it into a circle.
  6. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until bubbles form on the surface.
  7. Flip the pancake and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  8. Remove the pancake from the pan and repeat with the remaining batter.
  9. Once all the pancakes are cooked, let them cool slightly.
  10. Spread red bean paste or chocolate spread onto half of each pancake.
  11. Fold the pancake in half to enclose the filling.
  12. Dust with matcha powder and powdered sugar before serving.
