Oats Dosa
A healthy and delicious Indian crepe made with oats and lentils.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Oil - For cooking
- Water - As required
- Salt - To taste
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Green chillies - 2, finely chopped
- Curd - 1/2 cup
- Rice flour - 1/2 cup
- Rolled oats - 1 cup
Let's Get Started
- Grind the rolled oats into a fine powder.
- In a bowl, combine the ground oats, rice flour, curd, green chillies, cumin seeds, black pepper, and salt.
- Add water gradually to make a batter of pouring consistency.
- Heat a non-stick pan and pour a ladleful of the batter on it, spreading it in a circular motion to make a thin dosa.
- Drizzle some oil around the edges and cook until the dosa turns golden brown.
- Flip the dosa and cook on the other side.
- Serve the oats dosa hot with chutney or sambar.
