New York Strip with Gorgonzola

Ingredients - Serves 2

Let's Get Started

  1. Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook to your desired level of doneness, about 4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add the heavy cream and Gorgonzola cheese to the skillet. Cook, stirring, until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy, about 3 minutes.
  5. Return the steaks to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, until the steaks are heated through.
  6. Serve the steaks with the Gorgonzola sauce.
