Mulitas
Mulitas are a delicious Mexican street food made with corn tortillas, melted cheese, and your choice of filling.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Lime wedges - For serving
- Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Sour cream - 1/2 cup
- Guacamole - 1/2 cup
- Salsa - 1/2 cup
- Cooked chicken, beef, or pork - 2 cups, shredded
- Shredded cheese - 2 cups
- Corn tortillas - 8
Let's Get Started
- Preheat a griddle or large skillet over medium heat.
- Place a tortilla on the griddle and sprinkle with a handful of shredded cheese.
- Add a layer of shredded chicken, beef, or pork on top of the cheese.
- Top with another tortilla and press down gently.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the bottom tortilla is crispy and the cheese is melted.
- Flip the mulita and cook for another 2-3 minutes on the other side.
- Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
- Cut the mulitas into quarters and serve with salsa, guacamole, sour cream, chopped cilantro, and lime wedges.
