Mul Naengmyeon
Mul Naengmyeon is a refreshing Korean cold noodle dish served in a chilled broth.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Ice cubes - As needed
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Hard-boiled eggs - 2, sliced
- Asian pear - 1, thinly sliced
- Radish - 1, julienned
- Cucumber - 1, julienned
- Beef broth - 4 cups
- Buckwheat noodles - 200g
Let's Get Started
- Cook the buckwheat noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- In a large bowl, combine the beef broth, vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, and sesame oil. Mix well.
- Place the cooked noodles in individual serving bowls.
- Add the cucumber, radish, Asian pear, hard-boiled eggs, and green onions on top of the noodles.
- Pour the chilled broth over the noodles and vegetables.
- Add ice cubes to each bowl to keep the broth cold.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
