Morel Mushroom Pasta
A rich and creamy pasta dish featuring the unique flavor of morel mushrooms.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Pasta - 8 ounces
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 cup, grated
- Heavy cream - 1 cup
- White wine - 1/2 cup
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Morel mushrooms - 1 cup, cleaned and sliced
Let's Get Started
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the morel mushrooms and cook until they are soft, about 5 minutes.
- Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
- Pour in the white wine and let it simmer until it has reduced by half.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Let the sauce simmer until it thickens.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
