Mission Street Tacos
These delicious street tacos are inspired by the flavors of San Francisco's Mission District. They're filled with grilled chicken, fresh cilantro, and tangy lime.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salsa - To taste
- Lime - 1, cut into wedges
- Red onion - 1/2, finely diced
- Fresh cilantro - 1/2 cup, chopped
- Small corn tortillas - 8
- Taco seasoning - 1 packet
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Chicken breasts - 2, boneless and skinless
Let's Get Started
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat.
- Rub the chicken breasts with the olive oil and taco seasoning.
- Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until it's cooked through.
- While the chicken is grilling, warm the tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat.
- Slice the grilled chicken into thin strips.
- Assemble the tacos by placing a few strips of chicken on each tortilla.
- Top with the chopped cilantro and diced red onion.
- Serve with lime wedges and salsa on the side.
