Mantecaditos are traditional Puerto Rican shortbread cookies that are buttery, crumbly, and delicious.

- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Cornstarch - 1/4 cup
- All-purpose flour - 2 cups
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup
- Unsalted butter - 1 cup
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until a soft dough forms.
