Longan Red Date Tea
A traditional Chinese tea made with longan and red dates. It's sweet, warming, and perfect for a cold day.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Goji berries - 1 tablespoon
- Rock sugar - 1/4 cup
- Water - 8 cups
- Red dates - 1/2 cup
- Dried longan - 1/2 cup
Let's Get Started
- Rinse the dried longan and red dates under cold water.
- In a large pot, add the water, dried longan, and red dates. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 1 hour.
- Add the rock sugar and stir until dissolved.
- Add the goji berries and simmer for another 10 minutes.
- Strain the tea into cups and serve warm.
