Let's Get Started

  1. Season the beef loin with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the beef and sear on all sides until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add the onions and garlic and cook until softened.
  4. Add the beef broth, red wine, and Worcestershire sauce to the pan. Bring to a boil.
  5. Return the beef to the pan, reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 1 hour, or until the beef is tender.
  6. Slice the beef and serve on bread rolls, topped with the onion and gravy mixture.
