Lobster and Shrimp Ravioli
A luxurious pasta dish filled with succulent lobster and shrimp, served in a creamy white wine sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Heavy cream - 1 cup
- White wine - 1/2 cup
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Pasta dough - 1 batch
- Egg - 1
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 cup, grated
- Ricotta cheese - 1 cup
- Shrimp - 1 cup, cooked and chopped
- Lobster meat - 1 cup, cooked and chopped
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, combine the lobster meat, shrimp, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and egg. Season with salt and pepper.
- Roll out the pasta dough and cut into squares. Place a spoonful of the lobster and shrimp mixture in the center of each square. Fold the dough over to form a triangle, pressing the edges to seal.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the ravioli and cook until they float to the top, about 3-4 minutes. Drain.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the white wine to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the wine has reduced by half.
- Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5-6 minutes, until the sauce has thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the cooked ravioli to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Serve hot.
