Linguine with Brown Butter and Sage

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Cook the linguine in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente. Drain, reserving 1 cup of the pasta water.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sage leaves and cook until the butter starts to brown and the sage leaves are crispy, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat in the brown butter. If the pasta seems dry, add some of the reserved pasta water.
  4. Season with salt and pepper, then sprinkle with the grated Parmesan cheese.
  5. Serve immediately, garnishing with additional Parmesan cheese and sage leaves if desired.
