Let's Get Started

  1. Mash the boiled potatoes in a large bowl until smooth.
  2. Add the flour, egg, and salt to the mashed potatoes. Mix well until a dough forms.
  3. Divide the dough into small portions and roll each portion into a log shape.
  4. Cut the dough logs into small dumplings, about 1-inch in size.
  5. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  6. Drop the dumplings into the boiling water and cook for about 5 minutes, or until they float to the surface.
  7. In a separate pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  8. Add the breadcrumbs to the melted butter and cook until golden brown.
  9. Remove the cooked dumplings from the water using a slotted spoon and transfer them to a serving dish.
  10. Pour the melted butter and breadcrumbs over the dumplings.
  11. Serve hot and enjoy!
