Lamb Satay
A delicious and flavorful skewered lamb dish, marinated in a mixture of spices and grilled to perfection.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Bamboo skewers - 8, soaked in water for 30 minutes
- Cayenne pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Ground turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Brown sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1/2 cup
- Lamb - 1 pound, cut into 1-inch cubes
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice, garlic, coriander, cumin, turmeric, and cayenne pepper.
- Add the lamb cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Thread the lamb cubes onto the soaked bamboo skewers.
- Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the lamb is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- Serve the lamb satay with your choice of dipping sauce.
