Korean Fried Rice
This Korean fried rice, also known as Kimchi Fried Rice, is a delicious and flavorful dish made with kimchi, rice, and various vegetables.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Eggs - 4
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Green onions - 4, chopped
- Frozen peas - 1/2 cup
- Carrots - 1/2 cup, diced
- Bacon - 4 slices, chopped
- Kimchi - 1 cup, chopped
- Cooked rice - 4 cups
Let's Get Started
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
- Add the chopped bacon and cook until crispy.
- Add the carrots and frozen peas to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, until slightly softened.
- Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and crack the eggs into the empty space.
- Scramble the eggs until cooked through, then mix them with the vegetables.
- Add the chopped kimchi to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, until heated through.
- Add the cooked rice to the skillet and stir to combine with the other ingredients.
- Drizzle the soy sauce and sesame oil over the rice and mix well.
