Let's Get Started

  1. In a bowl, combine the Italian sausage, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  3. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Brush the patties with olive oil and grill for about 5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  4. In the last minute of cooking, top each patty with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella. Cover the grill or pan and let the cheese melt.
  5. Serve the burgers on buns with additional marinara sauce if desired.
